Summer camp
The summer camp program is intended for boys and girls aged 6 to 14 years old from across Quebec. Only children referred by a youth, CISSS/CIUSSS, a youth organization or by a Canadian Tire Dealer can participate in a camp sponsored by the Fondation Bon départ de Canadian Tire du Québec.
The children selected will have a chance to experience a dream holiday at no cost. All of the costs, (transportation, meals, accommodation and activities) are fully funded by the Fondation Bon départ de Canadian Tire du Québec and the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur.

In a stunning natural setting covering 539 acres, surrounded by five lakes and a forest, the children will enjoy a holiday filled with experiences that are sure to stimulate, inspire and motivate them.
The camp programme promotes a healthy lifestyle by integrating sports, outdoor activities, as well as culinary and nutrition workshops. Taking into consideration their age and needs, children are encouraged to try different activities, which are often unfamiliar to them. The challenges are both on an individual and a group level.
The fulfillment
Working as a team and on their own will help them build confidence and raise self-esteem. The values of respect, team spirit, inclusion and mutual assistance are fostered to help ensure their stay is rewarding. Children also adhere to a code of living in which self-respect for others and for the environment are upheld.
